Thermostat

 This is simply a modified mercury glass thermometer with two wire leads that conduct electricity through two metallic bands with tiny needle probes that protrude through the glass into the cavity. When a specific temperature is reached the mercury level rises making contact with the two tiny probes.
The device "Turns On" at 165 F°.
